OUR PROCESS

YOUR CAR ARRIVES
Whether collected by our r delivered by you, your car is now within our secure facility where it will undergo a thorough inspection before being stored. If you are delivering the car don’t feel obliged to leave, we know how difficult it can be to let go (even if only for a short time) so feel free to grab a coffee and understand more about what we do.

THE CAR ENTERS HCB
Unlike some of our competitors, our wash and inspection facility is onsite reducing any chances of contamination. Under the careful eye of our specialists the car is moved into the inspection bay.
3/
MAINTENANCE WASH
If required and for a small fee, the vehicle is cleaned and prepped for storage.
Ensuring that the vitals such as the drivers seat, steering wheel
and floor are covered before the car is moved.

PRE-STORAGE INSPECTION
Our thorough pre-storage inspection ensures your car is stored correctly.
We check everything from the general condition, tyre treads and pressure,
fluids (which we top up if needed) and battery health.

INSPECTION RESULTS
We then communicate the results of the inspection with you and provide
you with a quote for any work to be carried out on-site, If anything is just not quite right.

AIR DRY
To acclimatise the car to its new surroundings,
we allow a 24hr air dry in a controlled environment.

CAR IS PHOTOGRAPHED
Prior to moving to the storage bay, the car is photographed to document its condition. Don’t worry, we will send you the photos so you don’t have to miss it too much.

BRAKES CYCLE
Allowing the brakes to cycle before storage removes any contamination or surface rust that may have appeared during the air-drying process. This also gives the engine chance to run at operating temperature one final time before storage.

STORAGE
Our main storage facility is 20,000SQM which means it is a pretty spacious place to be and the fully dehumidified facility creates the perfect environment for the vehicle to be stored. Now in its dedicated bay, the car is stored with the driver window slightly ajar to keep the air flowing and the hand brake is set to off.

CAR IS COVERED
Our soft, breathable HCB car covers keep the car safely tucked in and our state of the art battery conditioners keep a trickle of power to the car at all times. An oil drip tray is added, just in case there are any accidents.
ON GOING CARE
Whilst in storage your car is set to receive the 5 star treatment that we have implemented since 1984.
DAILY /
Your car is kept undercover on a day to day basis to avoid any unnecessary contact however, we complete a daily inspection of our site to highlight anything untoward.
WEEKLY /
Once a week we double check the battery conditioner status and check the drip trays.
BI-MONTHLY /
On a bi-monthly basis (around 60 days) the car is uncovered and checked. The car is started and let to warm to operating temperature, it is also moved to avoid any flat spots developing on the tyres. Once checked and approved, the car is returned to it storage bay.
REQUEST A CALL BACKCOLLECTING
Before our Logistics team leave with the car or upon collection, we make sure that everything is in order. Upon request of the car we make sure that the vehicle is completely road legal with a valid MOT and Tax check. The battery, lights, indicators and horn are all then checked and if necessary we will top up any fluids such as the washer bottle so that the car is in perfect working condition.
RETURNING
Upon return of the vehicle to the facility we put it back through the
10 step process to ensure proper storage.
We can also detail or protect a car if required to do so, for a nominal fee.
